I have a light-hearted, soulful, and warm style when it comes to painting. Although my painting process can get messy with the use of paint, I appreciate the freedom it provides me with. Painting has always allowed me to express myself in ways words cannot. As a photographer, I often use my own photos as inspiration for my paintings.

I create my artwork when I am in a peaceful state of mind, using a mix of media, but mainly acrylic paint. I prefer to paint on stretched canvas and wood panels, particularly on large surfaces as they make a bold statement in a room. My art studio is located on a farm in the country of Norfolk County, Ontario.

My artwork is a true reflection of my heart and life experiences. I have found that my best pieces are created when I am in a positive state of mind, and this positive energy is transmitted to the spaces where my artwork is displayed. I take pride in the honesty and positivity that my paintings exude. It is impossible for me to produce art that my soul does not resonate with.

As a self-taught artist, I’ve come to realize that my painting style is constantly evolving with each new piece. Every painting presents a unique lesson, and my art reflects the memories and life experiences that have helped shape me into the woman I am today. Travel is a major source of inspiration for me, as I love immersing myself in different cultures and living like a local. Authenticity is a value that I hold in high regard, and I always strive to live my life in complete honesty.
