Zellermayer is an internationally recognized Canadian sculptor with a distinctive style represented in collections worldwide.
Ruben Zellermayer’s work encompasses many avenues. The Symbolic and figural aspects of the female form, the primal beauty of animals and microorganisms. These organisms develop while resisting gravitational forces, as they evolve in a myriad of forms. His work in steel, iron, wood and brass is a synergistic blend uplifting, colourful and fanciful. The viewer is stimulated in an introspective manner.
Ruben Zellermayer studied at the Noack Foundry Institute in Berlin, the Einhud Institute in Haifa, Lion Metalworks in Toronto and Art History at the University of Toronto.
